I know it’s obviously been stated but this series explores the intricacies of long lived people so excellently. This episode shows something that Frieren learned about humans: they make the most of their long lives. Ancient beings like elves and demons take time for granted, and think nothing of eighty years. But in that time, humans have advanced so far that what was insurmountable 80 years ago is a mere trifle to them now. It’s just like real life: we went from horses and carriages to planes and cars over the span of almost 100 years.

2025-08-02 23:09:46 +0000 UTCA lot of Frieren has German wording and words, especially in names for characters and places. For example, Frieren means freezing/to freeze, Fern means far, Qual means torment/agony and so on and so forth.
