"Human" is an overal term that includes everyone, Dwarves, Elves, Orcs,... Someone like the Touden siblings are specifically called "Tall-Men", which I find really interesting!

Basically, it's not a sub-race like the drow or something, it's a fairy tale about children that wander too far getting kidnapped by bad elves which is...not unfounded, they did some imperialism and treated other races as lesser to them
