Oh so was the end of Arabasta arc in the manga out around the time of 9/11 or is that just a myth? Because while I dont mind it, I do find it odd since his death was set up well.

2024-12-16 18:40:31 +0000 UTCAs of to how Pell could have survived, it’s probably do to him having the falcon zoan. Since zoans have been established with Dalton, chopper, Shaka, and Pell, zoans give the user a buff to their already existing abilities, enhanced strength, speed, endurance, defense. Plus falcons can clock up to around 200 miles per hour (320 km/h), so it’s possible he was able to zoom away from some of the explosion so he didn’t get as hurt if he was more toward the center.

Some people are torn on it and hate it, but Oda says he didn’t want to end the arc on a sad note. While I can understand why people don’t like it, I don’t hate it nearly as much as many others.
