Great to see your reactions georgiee, thank you for uploading! I definitely agree that they shot themselves on the foot by rushing the season and not let things breathe properly. There are so much that they could better develop, with this pacing we as viewers have to constantly fill in the gaps and everything ends up being so abrupt. The animation and art direction of this show is superb, but honestly I still feel mixed about the pacing compared with the slow buildup of season 1. Out of all episodes, only 5 and 7 felt that reached the sweetspot of exposition and the payoff was immense. Music was absolutely great as well. Even after watching for a second time I still feel that it could be better resolved, no changes to plot, we just could have a bit more minutes each episode to glue everything together nicely.

2024-11-27 04:51:36 +0000 UTCEven with the flaws that this show has it's still the best thing I've ever watched. 9.9/10 the amount of raw emotions that they can bring out of us through their storytelling the characters are so relatable/human that you can really get sucked into it. After the last episode concluded I just sat there in slience for a good 10-15 minutes and when I went to listen to the music and such I broke down ugly crying. I totally agree that they should have expanded the series into more episodes but it could be that Netlix were the ones that put limitations on how long it could be. It's confirmed that they're currently working on more shows in the world of Runeterra with the next one already being in production for over a year. The next region is most likely Noxus with a possibility for Demacia and Ionia. The seemingly dead characters that have a chance that they're not actually dead are: Heimerdinger since he's a yordle and yordles are magical beings that revive in Bandle city should they "die". Viktor and Jayce could be alive since they seemed to be sucked into the "Acceleration rune" of which Ekko used the inversion of to back in time so I hope that they got transported into the future. Jinx could be alive since at the end when Cait was looking at the schematic for the hexgate they focused on the ventilation ducts and her holding the monkey head could be hinting that Jinx is alive and with the airship being a nod to the first episode where Powder said that she will one day ride in one of those. The spicy scene with Cait and Vi was a thing that Fortice pushed for and it was according to Christian Linke supposed to be a bit longer.
