2024-11-26 00:32:50 +0000 UTCconsidering Araki couldn't even make Giorno a woman, like he wanted, i can't imagine he could make someone in the main group gay (or any queer in any other way), which really sucks. And since we don't really introduce new allies, making the enemies gay seems like the only option. At least Araki didn't portray both couples as loving each other in a healthy way, and them being gay doens't isn't portrayed as something villainous. But yeah, it sucks that so far all LGBTQ representation was dia via enemies, who had 2 episode of screentime at best and not really that much dialogue

2024-11-11 22:35:45 +0000 UTCI love seeing the other team members be more and more drawn towards Giorno. He has a lot of charisma, like Dio in a way, except Dio used fear and mind control to coerce people, when Giorno puts his life at risk to earn the others' trust and respect. Another aspect that doesn't transpires as well in the translation comparing to the original imo is that Giorno always speaks in an extremely polite and respectful way, even to his enemies; another thing he does as a complete opposite to Dio, who talked in the most arrogant way possible. I think it's a really nice touch.

2024-11-10 23:02:02 +0000 UTCI decided to get your patreon about a month ago because I really liked your youtube reactions and learned you were watching the whole Jojo anime, almost a month later, I finally caught up, I am loving these reactions! Regarding this two parter, it was super frustrating to watch at first, but the payoff was GREAT, sucks to have two gay couples killed off instantly tho

2024-11-09 23:58:18 +0000 UTCI feel like you can excuse the group not picking up on narancia being affected because everyone is still in shock from betraying the boss and leaving fugo. Everyone’s on edge and narancia could have just been going through an episode.

2024-11-09 18:41:06 +0000 UTCGoddd, I think I mentioned it before, but I forgot just how good this part is in often also centering on the antagonists of the episode, and letting you see their thought process as well It's so so good and compelling and almost makes you root for them! (..also Narancia is so homophobic for taking out that harmless gay couple, he just hates true love...)
