Yeah if there is a negative point with the Straw Hats (just for argument's sake)... is that it often create within a low of viewers, a wrong impression of Pirates. Of course most marines, or at least not the corrupt ones, would not be happy with the Warlords and having to tolerate working with pirates. Especially when the system exists not because those were pirates that would share their views and beliefs, but mostly because those were powerful enough to make the Gov hesitate, even wasting people and resources at being their enemies.

2025-05-25 22:24:00 +0000 UTCThe warlords work with the navy, but many marines including smoker just have personal feeling about them because they are still pirates after all. Smoker has to work with them if needed, but he doesn’t like pirates, so he wouldn’t work with crocodile. All he knows is that luffy who he is after has a connection with crocodile. You’ll learn more about the warlords and their relationship with the government later on.
