- Giorno is about to meet the crew. ๐ You're going to love them. - I'm not sure how much 5 billion lire is in dollars or pounds but that's an incredible amount of zeros. ๐ฏ - Heehee, this is just a glimpse of their personalities. When the show goes into their back stories, you'll understand them a lot more and why they act the way they do. - Oof, the awkward silence with that introduction. ๐ But, we finally get to see how they react to Giorno. - Oh my gosh, here we go with the pee tea. ๐๐ - Now we know for a fact that Giorno is 15 years old. The dude is so young. - Bahahaha, the dramatic music that played as he chugged it. ๐ Giorno was very smooth in handling that. - To think that tiny jellyfish filtered all of that liquid into water. That jellyfish ain't leaving his mouth though, so the contents are still in his body no matter how you look at it. ๐ฌ - Bucciarati sure has a lot on his plate. Seeing how the drug selling is affecting the people he's protecting is going to push him to side with Giorno, that's for sure. - The kid who was pretty bad at math and bought a bunch of snacks is known as Narancia Ghirga (nah-ran-chee-ah, geer-gah). He mentioned he was two years older than Giorno so, he's 17 years old. Fun kid. - Man, to think Polpo trusted Bucciarati to stash away 10 billion lire is insane. ๐ฏ - When that awesome music comes up, just know that it's Giorno's theme playing. It's called "il vento d'oro" or golden wind. ๐ It's been used so often in JJBA memes. ๐ - Yeh, we won't get a strong female presence in JJBA until Part 6. Hopefully you're alright with the one that was shown in the intro and outro when they show up. - It appears that much of the organization thought Polpo took his own life because of how perfectly Giorno set the scene up. His stand only disguised the gun into a banana but Polpo did the rest in making it go off. There was no one present at the time that it went off. Even with a stand being used to set this up, there was no evidence showing that there was foul play when everything was being investigated. - I like how the gears in your mind are turning and trying to figure the things that haven't been made apparent yet. ๐๐๐ผ

2024-09-12 23:10:39 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, Shonen Jump was really sexist against female protagonists back in the 80's/90's to the point where Araki, who kept begging for approval over having a female lead throughout his career, originally planned to reveal that Giorno was secretly a woman at the end of Part 5 as a big F-U to Shonen Jump. This is why his Japanese name is feminized and his look is the most androgynous of all the Jojo's. He eventually discarded this idea but after the success of Part 5 and years of complaining from Araki, Shonen Jump finally gave in and Araki got his wish with Part 6.

Not that I'm saying that's morally correct, but it's just how it is. I understand that Jojo's is not the most historically accurate anime, but I understand why the decision was made.
