- It seems Yukako might have learned to respect boundaries a bit more since we last saw her. π€ Improvement? Hopefully. - It's HIM! βπΌThe music though. ππΌ - Aya must have low blood pressure if she keeps sighing like that. π - So her thing seems to be improving a person's fortune/luck on finding love based on their facial features. - Man, Koichi. He's too kind sometimes. It works here, though. π - What da heck?? π€£ That sudden hand holding happened so quickly. π€ - As suddenly as the hand holding happened, Koichi suddenly had the runs/diarrhea. π - Man, even though Aya-san's line of work has to do with physical beauty, she brought up the importance of willingness to change yourself from within. I believe she alluded to that, otherwise, call me crazy. π - This whole esthetician thing just became weird. π - Hahaha, the girl is shimmering. π - She's basically saying that Koichi's common sense is keeping Cinderella's work from doing its thing. π - Man, Shizuka is affected by flash? Poor baby. π₯Ί Thank goodness Joseph is attentive to her mental well-being as well. π - I can't take this love story seriously now that I've seen this a few times before. π€£ I still think they would work out well if Yukako kept her temper in check. πππΌ - Joseph made it happen. π - Josuke almost died. π The shock was too much. Meanwhile Okuyasu. π€£ - I gotta say. Seeing Yukako cry is so heartbreaking. π₯ The feeling immediately stops when her temper gets out of hand and the violent tendencies are made manifest. π - The art style is indeed mesmerizing. π Reminds me a detailed picture book. - Koichi smort. π - Aya-san really is trying to teach Yukako a useful lesson even though, Yukako is pretty stubborn with her violent tendencies. My goodness, this lady has patience. π - I can understand what you mean about some of the toxic traits presented as well as how you wished Yukako was written to be more of her own person rather than doing everything for the sake of Koichi. Well, that's a yandere (love sick) type if I've ever seen one.

Still, I agree with you, they could have used that opportunity to show some growth from Yukako and they didn't, which is sad. She probably at least learned to respect boundaries, but... yeah. Part 4 has a bit more female characters than part 3 I think, but we're mostly going from "sexy stand users with no personality" to "good wives who only care about love", which is infuriating. Fortunately it gets better when we get to part 6.

She was humbled after her fight with Koichi, seeing that she can't actually do whatever she wanted with no repercussions; but yeah, as you said, she's still an asshole, even if she doesn't appear to be as possessive as she was previously That romance between her and Koichi is weak tho, that's undeniable. Luckily, she doesn't participate much in the rest of the season

I also feel like partially it was a product of the time when it was written (early to mid 90s). You'll be very pleased with part 6 though, actually cool and good written female characters. At least though the next episode is fantastic and it's all uphill from here, and probably my favorite last half bit of a part in jojo so far.

2024-07-01 17:55:30 +0000 UTCThis is definitely the "Orangutan" of Part 4. Part 3, 4, and another future part all have a bad episode/character that reasonable people tend to hate. So you're not alone lol
