From all indications, its safe to say that Gin died considering all the comments about the poison he inhaled, and his last moment was a farewell. But you never know, anything can happen in one piece :)

2024-02-13 14:13:38 +0000 UTCI try to answer your question, about Ruffy and his attack names: Luffy always begins his attacks by saying "Gomu Gomu no..." and finishes with an attack-specific word, either in Japanese or English. The majority of them are named after guns and various other firearms. This naming pattern originates from the claim that Luffy made to Shanks that his fist is as strong as pistol fire (episode 4). It is important to note, that later one, his names will have also other aspects such as physical objects to mental stupidity. It depends a lot on the fight, so you can never be sure with what Luffy comes up next. Also: The anime also removes the blood that Gin coughs up during his farewell speech to Sanji, possibly to soften the implications of his death being imminent. Funfact at the end: His name is a katakana rendition of the Japanese term for silver (銀, Gin), alluding to his secondary status under the gold-armored Krieg.
