I really really love your summary and criticism of the show so-far at the end, thank you so much for that!!! I fully agree with your disappointment over Lisa Lisa not getting to do more. In an interview, Araki (JoJo's creator) once said that his biggest regret is not doing more with her back then. From what is known it seems that his publisher at the time really pressured him to push her role back, seeing as it was the late 80s and a hypercompetent woman in a shounen manga who was even more powerful than the main character was pretty uncommon (and for some, ""uncomfortable"") back then So.. yea, I'm glad he still had her be this character and it seems that for the time back then she really was a big step in the right direction of depicting powerful and competent women in male-dominated shounen, but, yea.. it's still sad that there was not more of her

It is definitely the most iconic part of JoJo's, and although I do have plenty of gripes with it (and I think the series REALLY takes off with Part 4 lol), it's a big step up from Part 2, especially in terms of the characters and their development.

Of course call it whatever you'd like, but the next part, Part 3 (season 2) is Stardust Crusaders and I am so god damned excited for it
