Silk curtains fluttered in the breeze even though it was inside. The ground was like 90% throw pillows. On the largest, sexiest pile of pillows, Raine lounged like a wolf that was lounging, reading some nerd book. (I don't mean nerd in like a bad way! I think it's really cool that she knows all kinds of nerdy magic and science stuff. She's a nerd, but like... a cool nerd!) As she entered the room, being careful not to trip over the many sexy pillows, Kat noticed that Raine's wolf snoot was looking extra smoochable tonight. "Your wolf snoot is looking extra smoochable tonight," said Kat. "You want to smooch my snoot?" squeaked Raine, who squeaked an awful lot for a wolf. "Yeah, it looks smoochable," repeated Kat, because it did. Raine's squeaking reached even squeakier levels of squeak. "B-b-but, I've never smooched another girl before!" In the background, the Purple-haired Girl, who had been there the whole time, laughed. Because Purple-haired Girl could always tell when someone was telling lies. Especially lies about smooching. "Then I guess I'll save this smooch for some other cute wolf girl's snoot," Kat pouted, but like a fake pout. "Wait!" squeaked Raine in nearly inaudible levels of squeak. "I never said... I didn't want to try smooching snoots with you." Kat's snoot smirked in snooty anticipation of the smooching to follow... (...To be continued in Some Kats Like Raine, Pt 2: The Smoochening.)
