This situation could be somewhat understandable were it the result of accident, foreign illness or mauling by vicious animals. However, we have come to find that this recent rash of losses is the result of something entirely different. And it is for this reason that we now issue the following notice. The Guild reminds all field operatives that... fraternization... with the local populace is strictly forbidden. Even if they are cute, and fluffy, and have pretty tails and nice fur, and keep asking very nicely to... fraternize. Such incidents in recent months have resulted in the compromise of two researchers from the Tiger expedition, one from the Snow Leopard tribes, and a complete loss of contact with the entire team sent to Wolf territory. This cannot continue! Even if the locals are friendly, and understanding, and nicer than most humans, and... kinda sexy. It's against the rules! And every member of the Templar knows that rules make us happy, and not silly things like beautiful fuzzy husbands and wives. On a related note: the Guild finds itself in need of new field research teams. Please send word around the other branches of the Templar, as well as to any other adventurous types you know outside of the league. But be certain to remind them that fraternization with the beautiful, sexy, sexy Keidran that they will surely meet during their research is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN! (Addendum: While the above notice failed in its intended goal of decreasing interspecies fraternization, it did result in a marked uptick in applications for new field research positions. Though the average career length of such operatives drastically declined, as many ended in... further fraternization.)
