2020-11-13 23:40:27 +0000 UTCOne last thing. I'm still not sure, but this Basitin reminds me of the leftmost West Basitin sister from the Carver epilogue. Which perfectly fits my headcanon that the WB sisters run a kitschy luau themed Bed and Breakfast for tourists, and they've press-ganged Carver into being a bellhop/cabana boy in exchange for food, a room, and not tossing him in the ocean. It's my guilty pleasure fanfic idea. I've got a whole plot to it involving a Carver redemption arc, a one year time skip, and Clovis' Guild coming to the Isles looking for Nora's cave to mine it for mana crystals. It's even got a cringy OC villain in the form of a Maned Wolf Guild lieutenant named Atticus. It's horrible. I need to write it some day...

Anyway, I think I'm gonna head down to the pool and check out the, uh... scenery." *Skedaddles.* Kat: *...Sighs.* Hunky Tiger Guy: "Creepy human dude use you to get through the gate?" Kat: "Wha-? I... yeah. I guess so." Hunky T: *Nods.* "Know the feeling. Happened to me twice before I met my Klarcs... Hey, listen. Me'n the hubs were gonna head to the spa and try out some of that Mt. Explorer Klarcs: "Not as odd as you'd think. The keidran word for 'couple' doesn't necessarily translate strictly to 'pair'. Threes and mores aren't all that uncommon here. Especially amongst the canines." Hunky T: "That's my hubby. Ever the scholar. Don't let him corner you unless you want to spend the next few hours listening to his latest thesis on Wolven pack-bonding theory... So? Coming with?" Kat: "...You know what? Yeah!
