Willow Moves In

For those confused, Willow's body will go around on autopilot when separated from the lamp. And apparently something's blocking willow's lamp top from opening. Probably the rest of the stuff Willow packed in there.
Her body's not really this independent in her original story, it's normally only able to do basic tasks, but maybe in the modern setting she's evolved a little.

The original explanation is that Willow herself gained sentience after splitting off from a larger entity. In much the same way, her body only begins to gain sentience after being apart from her for longer periods of time. Also, Tom mentions in this pictures description that Willow’s body isn’t normally this independent. I would like some more in depth descriptions and explanations too though. Alas without their own comic I doubt they’ll ever get too fleshed out.

2020-09-29 06:44:37 +0000 UTCI am probably in the minority, but I find the use of a sentient “body” aka a person as a appendage to be a bit problematic. She can cognate to the point of using “I” and self realizing actions and engaging in tasks such as interacting in conversations, then at what point did she lose the right (of maybe it’s a privilege in the world of powerful beings who can possess others) to be a free person? I would like to see more of these two to answer questions of their relationship and how they interact around the idea that they are both people, one powerful in the realm of the mind and the other necessary in realm of the corporeal.
