Here's an opportunity for any $5+ Patron to vote for what sketches they want to see drawn for the last sketch stream of the month, tomorrow.
There are a LOT of options. Sorry! It's pretty daunting, so don't feel obligated at all! But if you're up to it, browse through them, if only to see if anything sparks your fancy. You can pick as many or as few as you want, so there's no pressure.
Poll ends 3pm eastern US tomorrow. (~20 hours from now)
Note: The order of the options are random for everyone, so there's no bias in where the suggestions are placed on the list.

2020-07-21 06:37:26 +0000 UTCOn the stream people asked and wondered how these “crazy Russians” managed to “so fast” put together results of the omnipoll to text version (https://mingun.github.io/twokinds-omnipoll-results/?date=2020-07-19). During the stream, I did not have the opportunity to answer this question, so for everyone interested, I answer here. Firstly, not “these”, but just “that” :) Secondly, as initial data I used only screenshots of the stream. For a while, there were no votes in the results for positions 33 and 111, and at first I thought that they for some reason did not make it into the final chart. But everything turned out to be simpler: it turns out that when I took screenshots, despite the fact that I tried to take them as quickly as I could :), I was so “lucky” (ha-ha!) that these particular positions simply didn’t make it to any screenshot and, moreover, the screenshot borders passed exactly along the border between the suggestions! That’s why I missed them. Luckily, @InTheLionsDen later gived me the missing votes, so justice was restored :) Thirdly, most of the work was automated: I used the free tool http://ocr.space/ to recognize suggestions and votes (by the way, it coped just fine — not a single recognition error). Nevertheless, manual work was also present: taking a screenshot, cropping it in Gimp, send it to the OCR and copying the result for subsequent processing. Subsequent processing consisted of searching in a prepared json file with suggestions for the right suggestion and adding to it the recognized count of votes — this part is fully automated with a small Python script. A prepared json file (including a translation of all suggestions into Russian) was prepared on Saturday when Tom published the omnipoll. As a result, the subsequent verification and proofreading took most of the time, since this is my first experience of using an OCR, previous omnipolls were processed entirely in manual mode, “by the eyes” :) In conclusion, I will say that there is still potential for further automation, and I wouldn’s say that it was “fast” (at least not as fast as I would like :)

Largely because I feel extremely sorry for effectively spoiling it with my story comment on “Familiar Grief”. Also… if “Natani against the glass” wins, part of me hopes it turns out to be Natani punching through the glass.
