The background on this gives so much information to the culture it looks very similar to Roman Villas making me think the Western Basitins to be very much like Proto Romans or even Etruscan in there society and culture so not so much pure Roman but kind of a mixture between Celtic, based upon their dress, and Romans at least that's how I see it. I would love to see more architecture from them it's like Eastern Basitins are Franco Germanic or even Anglo or Norse while Western Basitins are more Greek and Roman or Iberian. More detail please Tom.
