Khajiit, I mean, Keidran has wares if you have coin

Borderline Feral

I think this could be worked into the history, and perhaps even future, of the main comic storyline. We know that the humans exterminated or enslaved nearly all northern species of Keidran. It could be imagined that a particular tribe of very warlike and hardy cats of the north, with no fear of water and highly-developed shipbuilding skills, managed to escape the humans by ship, settling various islands in the north. Over the many years since keidran were driven from the mainlands of the north, these vicious cats never forgot what the humans did, and have been preparing for revenge ever since. Developing their ships, their weapons of war (to rival or even exceed the humans, in terms of war technology), their very bodies, and even magical skill (since their lack of magical prowess was the main reason the humans defeated them before), to be able to take back their lost glory from the humans. Although they still prefer to not use magic, some of their people who were born with a higher-than-normal natural affinity for magic are encouraged to learn and grown in their talent, to be able to support the other warriors. Meanwhile, the warriors are also trained AGAINST magic, toughing their resistance in battle, almost to the point of being comparable to Basitin resistance (the difference of course being that Basitin are born this way, while these cats have to train very hard to develop it). The main threat of these “vikings”, is of course, still their prowess in physical combat, and their seafaring skills, allowing them to strike any locations near sea without warning, and able to defeat nearly any other armada in ship-to-ship combat, and then disappear to the sea once again, after plundering all the riches to be had. Soon they will be ready, and soon the humans will regret taking their land from their forefathers.

I don't think this Kajhit likes the taste of moon sugar.

During the great Viking raids, only 75 years after the humans would establish their first colonies, a terror would appear from the north. Heavily armed raiders came from the land of ice and swept trough human and other keidran settlements alike, crushing whatever resistance showed its face. The stories say that the Vikings, with their great size and weapons, and their warships, allowing them to land on beaches and riverbanks with ease, allowed them to threaten even far reaching lands. Legends even state that the great Viking armies were only stopped after landing on the great basitin isles in the south, who after several naval battles were able to cut off supplies and reinforcements from the raiders, who dispite lacking supplies, fought to the last.

"Look at this painting. This image of the beast. Those are the creatures that infest the north. That prey on our elders and children. Savage cannibals, animals without mercy who lust for our flesh and tears! They will never cease their traitorous attacks on the innocents, not until they have brought civilization to ruin. But this can be prevented my dears lords. With nothing but a small donation from you we will be able to arm the fleet needed to bring swift justice to those raging beasts. Your generosity won't be forgotten, of course. Your names will be praised for your wisdom and courage. And you will be reward too, as for sure we will find among the beasts some worthy of a better start, under the needed discipline and with the needed collar to reign in on their baser instinct. For sure those will be eager to repay you for this gift you helped bring to them and their people. Trust me, in the fields or your more intimates quarters, they won't ever say 'no'..." - Elisha Corrom, Templar official, a year before the Northern Purges started

My search returns that it is an old norwegian folk song, translated to english by Harald Foss. Maybe you could give a reference link to english poem?

A song in Old Norse starts playing in my head when I look at this. It's called Ved Stanford Brua, it was made originally as a poem back in the 12th-13th centuries. The song is about the battle of Stanford bridge in 1066 when the Norse invaded England, just before the Normans did. The Normans are basically French Vikings btw. Comment below if you want me to post the song here.

Aurum Lupus

Actually they're Norwegian.
