Both Maren and Sythe opened up a bit to Raine at different times; it would be nice to see the two of them have a chance to show us and each other who they really are and eventually bond in a meaningful, serious way. We've seen tinges of blush and offhand flirts, but it would be a good time to show the first spark of what might come.

not intending to derail the thread or anything, but i've never understood that phrase "protests too much". i mean, people think you're guilty if you protest too much and if you don't protest enough. so what is the optimal amount of protesting that is acceptable?

In fact, judging by the number of White Wolf wine bottles you stacked up by the end of the night, and how... fresh you got with some of the guests (poor Raine still blushes anytime somebody brings it up), I'd say you enjoyed yourself pretty well." Maren: "No. It wasn't that. It was-" Sythe: "What, love?" Maren: "In the nightmare... You were better dressed than me." Sythe: "Ha! I think I remember saying I wanted to do the wedding traditional Wolf tribe style. In the fur." Maren: "And I remember telling YOU no way, because you'd enjoy it too much." Sythe: "Yeah, that must be a human thing, because I still don't see what's so wrong with enjoying myself too much. Besides, you say that like half our friends don't already walk around either naked or close enough to it." ???: *Sounds of soft crying from down the hallway* Maren: "Well now we've done it. I guess it's my turn to feed them." Sythe: "No, no. I got it. I'm up anyway. You get your rest. And Maren?" Maren: "Yes, dear?" Sythe: "...You looked beautiful. You still do."
