I see it as more of a “only Trace, Saria, and I get to read these, type thing. Also, I’d hope that AOT/SNK, Tokyo Ghoul, and SAO are among the mangas in that bookshelf. (Frankly I think the manga for Tokyo Ghoul was better than the Anime. Hide’s death had much more meaning in the manga, as it’s implied that he sacrificed himself for Kaneki to keep going on, but in the anime, he’s more or less the victim of a stray bullet, though you at least know he did indeed die.)
