I just looked the up, the average lifespan in the Middle Ages was 31. Now that may be because they had a lot die early, but I would say that 70 would be a stretch for average Middle Ages lifespan.

i just checked, and it said that the human lifespan is approximately 65 at worst and 120 at the very best, so in other words, a human lifespan is 80+ and in the twokinds story it's 60 to 80 or in other words, in twokinds a human lifespan is approximately 70- like in the middle-ages it was 60 to 70.
