Apparently Michelle still has the nickname of Mike, at least according to Evalyn here. Maybe the Nora in this universe decided to prank her just to make the name match better.

Based on this picture, I think she's actually cuter than 'Michelle'. Plus it technically satisfies the complaint of, "There aren't nearly as many female to male transformation requests!"
