Still... to me it would feel like a total nightmare to discover that what i was treating like a normal pet... would actually be an intelligent person. At best i would feel like a slaver. At worst... i don't even want to think about it.

I feel like the human was modeled off of tom him self which would be very fitting considering that he would then be in possession of one of the things humans have always wanted but could never have, a dog you can actually talk to and chill with and they know exactly what your doing what your saying and can react in kind.

Changes the whole level of thinking when it comes to the question of getting the 'pet' fixed. The note on the fridge will need to be changed from Dog Training to School Enrollment.

Seems like a worst nightmare come to life. Think of how a pet gets treated even when loved. Living almost always bare naked on the floor, sleeping in dirty rags, walking barefooted on the dirt. Now think of realizing that is a thinking being that can express itself and you've basically treated it like a slaver of old, because pets can't normally be talked to or express themselves and thus even when loved one can't fight their nature. And everybody treats them like that sooo why should you not? Now think of this pet coming out as fully intelligent and thinking that you're his dad/mother. Soooooo... yeah. Seems like a nightmare.
