There is a legend about a princess who was in love with a boy. But unfortunately, the boy was not nobly born, and their love was forbidden. So when the girl's father discovered that her daughter was meeting the boy without permission, he tried to find out who that boy was. Lovers were lucky enough to avoid getting caught, but King didn’t trust her daughter anymore. So he sent her to a small temple on a deserted island in front of the city.
Despite her exile, Princess managed to message the boy about her location. Soon she received instructions to arrive at the beach when the night was dark. First, she could signal the boy with a small fire to let him know where she was. Then, he could use fire like a lighthouse and swim to her.
So lovers were able to meet each other again. But, unfortunately, the grandmaster of the temple noticed how the girl disappeared every night. So he started to follow her and discovered her secret. Then grandmaster comes up with the plan. He commanded servants all around the rocks near the shore. They should carry similar lights that the princess used and randomly show lights to the lake turn by turn.
That night when servants executed Grandmaster's plan was windy. Waves were bigger than usual, and swimming was more difficult. When Princess was at the shore, Grandmaster went to her and threw her light to the lake. Servants were showing light, and the unfortunate lover got lost with his bearing and swam until his strength runout. He called the princess's name with his last words before waves took him.
I’m sure that in Emarukistan, this story will have a different ending, and the girl ends up at the slave bazaar in B’tumi. She deserves more than being the rest of her life locked to the temple or jumping off from the cliff in her sorrow. Luckily this teenage drama has only one to two deaths depending on the chosen ending.
