Slave Bazaar 2

Even though Gayane was the seller, she knew when to stop. She had the dealer's senses, and she was sensing she would not close the deal with the man looking at the boy. Naturally, she also knew my weakness to her smooth voice and silky tone of her voice. We don't need to talk about her brown eyes and beautiful soft hair. That woman had enough hair in all important places.

"My sweet friend. What brings you to the bazaar in a day like this?" Gayane started. She knew it was a regular weekday, and I was not searching for slaves on days like this. The grand bazaar day at the end of the week was better, and there were more slaves to buy.

"I wonder more, why are you selling these gems in a day like this?" I answered. It was a surprise that Gayane was selling imports on a regular day.

"You know this sad situation. Grand Bazaar is saturated with slaves from the allies of Saril when your soldiers take city after city," Gayane gave me a sharp look at the end of her sentence. It was true. Vahagnians allied with Goris and Saril would soon be history, "It is better to display these few days in advance, and then there will be a lot of people in Grand bazaar day."

I nodded to Gayane. Her strategy was good. Man who was here today would be back in grand bazaar day, and so would be all who were already viewing what Gayane was offering.

"See these twoβ€”Sister and Brother from the Riverlands. Sweet couple. They are so young and beautiful. Girl suits to Karabert, you know how much lords of the southern empire pay for these with rusty hair and freckled skin!" Gayane was laughing, "And the boy! What pleasures he would bring to his owner. They are already expensive, so why not invest in their Training?"

Gayane was again correct with her thinking. The girl would make a great gold when sold to Karabert. In the southern empire, a boy would go to greatness. He would become much more than he would ever be in his home country. He could even be a military leader.

"Join me for a glass of wine, and let's talk about these two," Gayane proposed, and I could never refuse wine with Gayane. Gayane, me, and two slaves would make a perfect but very expensive evening.
