An Update from Sliceables: Setting Expectations and Future Directions

Dear Sliceables Patrons,

I hope you've all enjoyed a wonderful Easter.

I wanted to reach out personally to share some insights and set clear expectations moving forward. You might have noticed that our new 3D model uploads have become less frequent, though the overall number has remained relatively steady (with a slight decrease due to the complexity and size of the models we've been working on).

For those who may not be aware, Sliceables was launched as a long-term project alongside our main business ventures, which I won't go into detail about here. Unfortunately, Sliceables hasn't met the financial milestones we had set, leading to a period of stagnation. This has prevented us from dedicating ourselves to it as fully as we'd hoped, despite our genuine passion for creating 3D models. Rest assured, we're still committed to producing high-quality models and sharing them with you here on Patreon, but our capacity to devote ourselves entirely to this project is limited.

I'm sharing this to manage expectations: we're not disappearing, and our creation of 3D models will continue, with many exciting designs waiting to be printed and tested. However, our upload frequency and support responsiveness may not align with what you've come to expect. If achieving 3-5 times our current sales or Patreon support becomes a reality, we'll be in a position to bring on dedicated staff and ramp up our operations significantly.

If this update changes how you feel about supporting Sliceables, we completely understand and are grateful for the time you've spent with us. Thank you for your understanding and for being a part of our journey thus far.

Warm regards,

Edgar.

Thank you so much for your kind words and support! We're glad to hear you'll be staying with us. Regarding the affiliated seller image, you're free to either include the badge discreetly on the side of an image, as others do, or choose not to display it at all. It's entirely up to you.

Thanks for the update! I appreciate the transparency and wish you guys the best of luck! I'll be sticking with my Tier and printing the quality files that come with it, although I have one question about where I would display the affiliated seller image when selling finished props or kits
