Outclassed 2 - Page 43 (WIP)
Added 2025-10-25 14:40:22 +0000 UTCThere's a big difference between the WIP and final page and that is the hands of each professor. Something that's consistently been pointed out is how ridiculously good everybody's hands have been throughout the whole comic, I figured for this last hand they should have something more mundane. It also works better with the idea that Horacio and Suarez agreed to settle this fair and honorably.
Like I said before, it gets tricky after a while to find new angles for hand reveals as the comic goes on but I feel like I saved the best for last, out of all of them (closed up top view, front view of Horacio, bird's eye view, shot-reverse shot, Suarez's hand popping from the side, etc.) this is my favorite.
I wanted to have reactions from the other three characters in this page, but naturally everyone is fighting for space with Horacio in that final panel. I figured it would add to the drama to have all three lit more dramatically with their balloon colors.
