This was one of the most fun pages to put together so far, it was very difficult to find references for the poses, especially the first panel, so I had to improvise but I'm happy with the result. In a page like this with more action and less dialogue, therefore less panels, I'm able to give them a little more detail than usual, such as bounce lights and more interesting coloring.
With chubby characters I like to have fat forming a horizontal line along the lower edge of the chest and it's handy for a situation like this. There's a small inconsistency here with the placement of the deck on Alfonso's fat rolls, the cards were slipping towards the back in the previous page but towards the front in this one, to match the perspective and have them visibly slip out, but we can chalk it up to Alfonso being in motion here.
