July-August 2025 WIP and sketch dump

I skipped July for these because unlike June (where I swear to God about half of my online friends had birthdays) I didn't end up doing as much supplementary non-patreon work, but August had some other stuff to throw to the pile, so here we go!

First off, a quickie with yours truly for capybara appreciation day (July 10th). Sometimes I just bump into these dates and go, sure, why not, I can put something together for this. Makes for good back anatomy practice.

Speaking of silly dates, next up would be the WIP sketch for the international tiger day little strip with Miles and Boomer, followed by the WIPs for the Bowser day pic, international left hander's day with Suarez, and that Wolf pic I did for a friend's birthday.

Which brings me to the topic of birthday pics. The first one is for RodrigoJS who has always supported me and a lot of artists and is an all around swell guy, the second is for BurntToast. It has come to my attention that this joke is not very well known outside of Latin American internet. Imagine you had two chairs: one has a dick on it, the other has a cake. You have to sit on one and eat what's on the other. What do you choose? It started out as gross out humor for the straights™ but it's been ridiculed to the point where any picture of someone sitting next to a cake raises questions. The third pic is for my husband. I like it when he dresses like that. No further comment.

The last silly doodle is from a tied match between Boca Juniors and Auckland City from this year's FIFA Club World Cup. For people that don't know shit about football it's not a super important championship but it was still a pretty big embarrassment to have one of the two biggest clubs from a country that takes football as seriously as Argentina does lose to an AMATEUR CLUB.
