Hiatus catch-up part 6 - Boomer & Miles (2024)

Part 2 of this hiatus catch-up post. I'll start off with two BMZ strips I did last year. The first has Miles' straight friends doing some pretty gay stuff. I've frankly had my junk grabbed by an equal amount of gay and straight guys until my mid 20s or so, I'm sure the experience is relatable. For the second one, I wanted to make this a more romantic twist on generational humor, with each stopping the other from doing stupid shit on their phone that the two generations constantly accuse each other of doing (younger people getting mocked for conspicuous consumption and older people for falling for blatant misinformation).

Up next more weird Argie bullshit, I had made a kind of contextless "what football team my characters would be fans of" post for shits and giggles, and had put Miles as a River Plate fan and Boomer as a Boca Juniors fan. Since both are rival teams I thought it would be funny to draw them wearing their jerseys and fucking. Which is something I've been doing concerningly often. Just a heads up: there's another world cup next year. First pic translated to english: "What do you think?" "You're taking that off NOW."

Next there's a cutesy three parter with Boomer getting his ass eaten for Valentine's day. Which is another thing I sort of got into the last two years and I'm not sorry.

Then there's a small thingy for april fool's 2024 with a VN mockup featuring Boomer, poking fun at some common tropes (humans getting isekai'd into furry settings, amnesia and sudden tone shifts to serious topics). The semen remaining bar is from a really old pic making fun of intrusive videogame UIs.

The four-parter next started as color pallete experiment that ended up getting pervier. I don't think anyone will complain.

Then there's a silly pic with Miles taking Boomer to a trendy restaurant where the presentation of the food matters more than the actual food. They're having an empanada in a jar, which is a real thing some shitty restaurant in Buenos Aires was mocked for doing.

Next there's a quickie of Miles for international tiger day (July 29th).

Context for the McDonald's pic: there was a happy meal promo with a Yugioh x Hello Kitty crossover last year and a lot of people I know went apeshit for it.

For the next one, I started seeing the phrase "i got that dog in me" a lot and figured, huh I have yet to see furry art capitalizing on this, fuck it let's do it.

Then there's a series of pics for halloween 2024 with Boomer and Miles dressed as Oscar and Wendell from Fortnite. All I know about fortnite is from rule 34 and that should say everything. There was ANOTHER part to this I never got around to doing but I might soon, so stay tuned for that.

And finally, a pic for Christmas 2024, with Boomer wearing Miles and Zoomer's presents (the cup and shirt respectively).

I'll probably do a part 7 with other random stuff I did over the last two years with characters other than the main cast, but NOW we're all caught up I hope.
