Added 2024-02-14 05:51:40 +0000 UTCwanted to make another view of liliko at Star Size from another perspective. Used our hand too much drawing the last one though, so we wanted to try it in pixel art.
ended up being a 3 day project, because we were struggling to find a look we were really happy with. oops.
used the NES color palette. We initially stuck to the 3 colors (+ transparency, which the black background acted as) per 8x8 tile for full authenticity, though cared less to stick so rigidly to that by the end.
We wanna try upping the resolution of future pixel art projects perhaps to get better color blending capabilities, 128x128 is starting to feel a bit limiting. Maybe we'll move to full NES resolution?
