The fact that Kaido even managed to hang with Gear 5 as long as he did is really impressive. I know people make fun of him for Luffy just skipping rope with him, but he pushed Luffy into making his heart start beating the beat again

I guess foreshadowing is a more appropriate term here. I mainly said spoilers because you there’s always people who over analyse stuff and that would spoil them. I always miss details like that and I only noticed after rewatching that episode multiple times. Still, it’s one of me favourite episodes of Wano.

I don't really comment here i'm just silently watching your op reactions since dressrosa. But after this chapter (it's my first time reading with you), i remember when i started watching one piece for the first time, i was not spoiled on anything not even that devil fruits are a thing in this show, so when i saw luffy stretch his arm for the first time around that pole in alvida's ship ( i think it was alvida's ship?) i swear to god my first thought was that was supposed to be a cartoony animation. You know when characters get mad and their head gets big or when usop pops his eyes out sometimes, i remember thinking it was that and then realising that's actually his power. Just a random thought i wanted to point out, cuz i had the same thoughts as back then except i know it's his power but it looks so goofy.

By the way guys! I noticed on rewatch that the anime episode 958 i think, the one where the Rocks pirates/ emperor bounties were revealed, that episode spoiled who would defeat Kaido and Big Mom. The final seconds just before the ‘To Be Continued’ showed Law, Kid then Big mom and then it showed Kaido, Roger, Whitebeard, Shanks and Luffy. Law and kid would beat BM and Roger, Wb, Shanks and Luffy are the list of people who have defeated Kaido along with Rocks. I realised this after catching up and rewatching but damn, the anime spoils stuff.
