One Piece Episode 1025-1028 Reaction

There isn't that many that hate it. It is the same thing with the end of the Doflamingo fight ppl hated that it isn't animated greatly and is just a giant flash on Doffy but it is still great manga ppl expect the anime to look as good as the manga since the manga is as perfect as it could be but they dont get it be different

It's always weird to me when I see people say 1028 was widely hated when every reactor I've watched loses their mind and it has the 2nd most likes on Crunchyroll across all episodes. The aura coloring was def overdone but One Piece fans be over-exaggerating like crazy haha.

I liked both but I gotta say the way they handle it now looks better to me. I wasn’t one of the people saying oh there’s way too much aura but I do like the way they’re doing it now

This moment in the manga was so amazing. But the anime flashiness does make this kinda confusing. I always wondered why the admirals were so scared of conquerors haki when most of the main story villains can just resist it, but infusing conquerors haki into attacks makes it so much more clear why it’s so dangerous.

I love this episode, it is the moment when Luffy beating Kaido stops looking so impossible, but honestly, my only complain is that the extra animation makes it confusing, in the manga it is just black lightning I think the aura was too extra, for my opinion. Still great episode.

the gold aura was adv conquerors haki (infusing attacks with conquerors haki) Thats what Kaido was talking about, how only a handful of people can infuse attacks with conquerors

I also think they really overdid it in this episode. Like it looked "cool" but it was hard to tell what was actually going on at several points due to the Special effects. Even the gold pedals covering the screen I just thought would look 10000% times better with like, 1/4 the amount. But I'm honestly happy you enjoyed it, because most reactions are complaints.

It's funny because most manga (and anime) fans disliked how they handled this episode. To the point where toei issued an apology on Twitter, and said something along the line of "After hearing feedback, we're aware that we overdid the special effects in the recent one piece episodes. We plan to tone down the effects for upcoming episodes in the future with this in mind.
