Nami could never deny Luffy. It isn't shown often, but her loyalty to him is probably up there with Zoro's. She'd never turn away from him because to her, there's no way he can't take the crown, there's no way he'd lose. Never. I love their relationship. (Not romantic, just their friendship.) She beats the crap out of him and pulls him up, but when her life is on the line to deny him, she would die instead.

Hahaha I love Ruffs reaction at the end, Just when you think you know Kaido's strength? Nah hold my keg. I remmember feeling the same way when I was going through this part of the arc and the usual kind of people were saying it was gonna be an ass pull. People just need to have faith in Oda.

Kaido controls Onigashima with his flame clouds, which as Yamato explained, is how dragons fly. So it's a devil fruit ability, not haki.

I think you might have missed yamato explaining that dragons use flame clouds to fly and that's how he's lifting the island. She says it right there as they're showing onigashima in the sky

And that’s the beauty of One Piece I love when the characters act out their will of their heart instead of logically. We’re always like yeah it dosent make sense bc we’re readers we can analyze and stuff but even pp in real life make stupid decisions based on their emotions and that’s what makes one piece so good sometimes. Yeah it’s not what he would have wanted her to do but she’s a 15/16 year old kid who just lost her elder brother figure. If you think about it logically Luffy hating black beard also makes no sense. He just needed a stepping stool to become a warlord and Ace just happened to be the one. However Luffy still has animosity towards him. One piece is filled with emotion over rational and I think it’s fun. Sorry for rant. But I do agree the Carrot plot line could have been handled better.

I think they keep saying her name "YAMATO" in such a big fashion is maybe bc her name was the original name of Japan and Wano is Japan and maybe theres it highlights her importance to wano???? idk i just think her name is neat in relation to wano and im overthinking it

From Perospero's perspective, what exactly did he do wrong? He was born into a pirate family, and Pedro was one of the attempted assassins of his mother. He was simply trying to stop them from getting away. Maybe that's why I'm not into the whole Carrot revenge plot line. Pedro wouldn't want there to be so much anger over him, he would want them to use their powers to help the Straw Hats beat Kaido.
