Wano is just way to long if you read it weekly in my opinion. Also I didn't really like many of the characters. Especially Oden and the Akazaya nine just annoy me and are overrated.

Perfectly understandable, I feel wano is like a rollercoaster: some chapters are insanely good but mostly it wasn't what week to week people were expecting. Long time readers have been hyped for this since punk hazard, I caught up in dressrosa and it already felt like too much build up for the result. Whole Cake island being completely out of the blue as an island was much more enjoyable to me

"Luffy is an emperor" So you wanna take Oda's word for it with this huh, well, Oda called it "5th emperor crap" with Akainu. Because who decides who's word is more right? Morgans? or Fleet Admiral Akainu? Oda used two characters to invent and crap on the "5th emperor" concept. And it's only called Emperor in English, in Japanese it's Yonko. Notice the 4 meaning in "Yon". Just saying. Akainu did say "goko" as well, which would be 5, but he called it crap.

As someone who reads the manga weekly since Thriller Bark, the Wano Arc was the worst for me and a certain chapter nearly made me quit the series forever. But its always nice to see how much Ruff enjoys the current arc and how excited he gets during some episodes.
