Oh my god, I love Gajeel 😂. Episode 102 was definitely his moment to shine and I love his “I’m a Fairy Tail wizard”. Makarov coming to find Gajeel and offering him a place in Fairy Tail was pure parent-energy—the best kind of parent. The one that acknowledges that the child messed up, but helps them fix it. Ruff’s face when he realized it was Makarov becoming as big as the freaking island was priceless 🤣. And I think Ruff was freaking out at the moment (rightfully so, with all that’s going on 😂), but when all those Grimoire Heart lacked were dropping from the sky, Lucy’s response to Loki’s “It’s raining masked men!”, “I’d say hallelujah, but they don’t look friendly” is a prime example of why I love the Fairy Tail dub 🤣.

2022-12-03 20:26:37 +0000 UTChe should definitely watch the anime canon filler arcs tho (even if its on his own time and not reactions) since those were supposed to be included in the manga. Mashima just lacked the time to implement them so he gives those arcs call backs in the manga canon arcs to show that they actually are part of the story.

2022-12-03 01:37:07 +0000 UTCYou can watch up to OVA 3 right now but if you're planning on not watching the filler arc after this arc you can wait til after episode 153 to watch OVA 4 (I would recommend you watch the filler arc on your own whenever you have the time it's anime original but Mashima worked on it with the anime team because the anime was getting close to catching up with the manga and gets brought up later on)
