his motion sickness doesnt make sense. But then you just accept the guy that can hear movements before they move. Its even dumber

The motion sickness can be annoying but it is properly explained later on to the point where it all makes complete sense. I'm not going to do what some others are doing and spoiling it for you, but there is a real good reason for it all.

Ruff: I can’t imagine a universe where they bring a character back to life multiple times.
DBZ: Am i a joke to you?

the motion sickness thing gets less and less common as the series goes on so don't worry about it too much

Yeah the motion sickness thing doesn't bother me. I guess it's one of those things where hindsight is 20/20. I don't remember if it ever annoyed me since I've watched FT since high school but after watching it through several times and knowing what I know, I understand it. Also, Lucy said that Natsu doesn't get sick from riding animals, so it makes sense Happy wouldn't affect him. Without spoiling anything, I look at it like this: Dragons are creatures of nature and they're often seen as the protectors of it. It seems that only unnatural forms of transportation affect Natsu, maybe because of this

In addition to brosenthalUO's points about Natsu's motion sickness, as someone who ACTUALLY suffers from motion sickness, I understand how Natsu feels and how some specific forms of transportation might not affect him. For me, my motion sickness is triggered when I feel motion but don't see it, or vice versa. Its a disconnect in the brain between the sensation and the visuals that causes your brain to believe you are being poisoned and forces you to throw up, hence the nausea. Some people also get it from experiencing excessive motion (like being on roller coasters. its too fast and the movements are too erratic, so they get dizzy and sick). Natsu, being hypersensitive to motion, probably experiences a combination of these kinds of motion sickness, plus a psychological factor where he's essentially Pavlov'd himself into believing vehicles = feeling sick. So not getting sick while flying with Happy is probably a combination of the psychological factor and having the visuals + sensations of motion actually lining up. Cars and trains definitely fall into the disconnect between sight and feeling - I always get super sick on those and have to either take medicine, wear special devices that prevent motion sickness, or just be unconscious the whole time. The raft (and riding on the legs of Nirvana) also fall squarely into the disconnect category. Especially if you are super hypersensitive to it, you can feel the motion of the water beneath you or the motion of Nirvana moving, but the movements are so small (or large in Nirvana's case) that there is little to no visual confirmation of it, hence sickness.

Ruff just a note in case you missed it Jellal never actually died in the first place he was like on the brink of death when they brought him out originally. The Oracion Seis leader explained why he survived I think but basically he was alive when Wendy healed him. Wendy can't revive the dead she can only heal living people. So technically he hasnt died at all yet 😅

yeah there is an actual good reason why he has motion sickness but that reason is spoiler to reveal. Because of that reason it's not a gag that goes away it's an actual plot point lol. It can be annoying but it doesnt go away

I won't spoil anything about Natsu's motion sickness but I will say its specifically when he's on vehicles and there is some mental component to it, it seems as since he views Happy as a friend and not a vehicle it doesn't effect him...... That being said it is still annoying and you are right that it is illogical.
