halfway through the last book, it is a happy and sad feeling, like 'Yay, the story's almost finished, I can finally read the conclusion, how it all turns out', but also 'Boo, I don't get to read about Rand, Perrin, Moirane, Mat, Egwene, etc. anymore.'. I am gonna miss it. Until I decide to reread.

2023-09-07 01:44:23 +0000 UTCThe closest story I've ever found to One Piece is the fantasy book series 'The Wheel of Time' by Robert Jordan & Brandon Sanderson. Just a complete masterpiece. There's a lot of similarities between them. Huge cast of unique and well thought out characters, intricate and cool magic systems, character development, world-building, and just an insane amount of planning and foreshadowing to the point you still make connections on your 10th re-read.
