EGS Beta Post Redux

Helloooo!

I'm a bit late, had a few more game breaking bugs than expected.

But the rough version of the refactor is in beta testing... a public beta test. Because truth be told, I need as many eyes as I can get on it in order to help this game be the best it can be.

I have a lot of thoughts, as shared below. But this beta will be hosted through the discord. Most of yall likely got sucked into it, but here's a link if you haven't!

I want this degree of separation from even subs because it is a rough version. There's still a decent amount for me to fix, but from my tests it is largely playable and I need gameplay feedback.

I'm not exactly sure how long this beta will take, depends on what the feedback looks like!

But I would once again like to thank yall for being patient with me.

Now I've tired myself out a bit with work on the game, but I'll be back into it later this week to properly examine feedback and fix the wealth of bugs both I know of and that others find. Below is some real nerd stuff. Or my thoughts on things with the current version, or even just notes on stuff I wanna fix.

Things I intend to work on during next update/for the full release

-Alista's dream in it's entirety, but mainly the Scene Library. Currently it feels like a menu and I'd rather expand on it all around. MY current idea is too make it more like a hangout location that's added to as you wind up inside of predators. With some small conversation with the characters. The logic for the scenes needs touching up as well, which is why it'll be locked off for this update. Decided to push it off a bit.

-Some visuals for the silhouettes aren't as good as I would like. They may be reevaluated based off feedback. I was just curious what looks good and what I can get away with.

-Items with sin were added but the code of the game doesn't really let you use them if you're going to die. I think I'd prefer they be quite rare but you can use them in emergencies. The rates are currently low but we will see how it works in reality. But yeah, adding clauses in near death scenarios to use items sounds like a good idea.

-In the new CGgallery, the Silhouettes uh, are invisible lol. I don't think that module has it built in to change the background image, so I'll likely need to go deeper and I just didn't want to deal atm.

-Go back through old images and clean up some awful editting I did. I can do better than now! I've LEARNED!

-Work on a way to potentially store sin, so that you can more easily hit game over conditions for various scenes or interactions.

-Add more belly size checks so Alista's body size is shown properly after damage and regenerating.

-If difficulty is too high and energy regen seems too small, potentially include a mechanic for building a "jackpot" of sin that you can cash in by masturbating. That way the game is kind of oriented around building up jackpots and cashing out. Not a small last minute change but I think this may be the right direction to go. Likely also allow certain interactions to payout as well. Current worry is now the game feels too passive.

-Yap messages seem to be delayed at times causing weird moments. There may be too many. Will see about fixing or feedback. Also a few are poking off screen.

-May allow some degree of character customization. Pick your own stats on level ups. Though im not sure how far I'd wanna do this. Maybe with struggle and arousal and their corresponding defense stats. Sin regen directly would be kept out of this.
