Fujitora is easily one of my favorite characters that was introduced this arch. And that is saying something because the sheer amount of characters introduced in this arc alone is insane. I place him so high because he is the embodiment of blind justice; Quite literally too. His entire character is just another example of Oda's mastery in creating his characters. It's an odd comparison, but Fujitora is a character that is similar to Usopp in design. Usopp was designed around the idea that he is a liar. Which is why Usopp has a long nose like Pinocchio and when introduced, he was a scrawny man to make him look more cowardly. While Fujitora also has that level of design in mind. He is blind to represent blind justice and his huge body represents how unmovable he is when enforcing what he believes is the right thing to do. Hell, it's a bit of a stretch but even his devil fruit reinforces his character. He bears the burden of responsibility when it needs to be taken. It just so happens that the arc he was introduced in, is the one where he bore the weight of that responsibility. All of these characters and they have more depth to them than 99% of other protagonists in other media. There really isn't anything quite like One Piece

Tbf, Luffy is a "wanted criminal" but im pretty sure Fujitora meant he was okay with not taking another step in a navy base. Tho tbf, if this anime dose not end with Luffy getting pardoned I mean, idk, (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ i guess by the end of this story the only ones hatting him will be the world G and we all know Luffy gonna smack those high class bitches down to earth! World G executing Luffy like Roger would not really work when Luffy dose not deserve it one bit. Well Roger surely did not either, but thats why the world G needs to go down big time!
