The more accurate translation is "how scandalous" or "how inappropriate". I think people need to understand that the English translation in subtitles that show profanity and super harsh English words aren't used in Japanese television. Also, most English profanity can't be directly translated because they don't exist in Japanese vocabulary. Like the word "Fuck" for example. The "whore" translation in the subtitling is just for the effect of the scene.
