I'm getting the feeling that AoT is continuing into the spring season. Livechart.me (the main website I use to keep track of my seasonal anime) hasn't yet specified how many episodes Part 2 will have, and it's usually good about telling me that information ahead of time. And with the anime on break next Sunday...yeah, I think this is the route they're going for here.

Why is it that I feel sometimes... like I must have read the manga in my sleep or something? Cause like... to me how everything goes seems pretty obvious, but so many people ve acting like it's not.

Demon slayer and jjk did movies because it's be profitable, and you didn't need to know the story to watch them. Attack on Titan is the at the climax of the story, if people saw it in theatres they wouldn't know what's going on. Tough to say what'll happen

I think seeing how much money demon slayer got from the film , aot studio wants to do the same and tbh i'm not against it , as a manga reader i've dreamt to see the last couple chapter in big screens with all the sounding effect it will be amazing !

It has been some time since i have read the manga, but as far as i can remember, the remaining part of the story fits more into a movie than another cour. Since demonslayer did so well i wouldnt be surprised that aot also tries to do a similar move, releasing the climax as a feature. Although they can always stretch things out a bit, add a bit of filler material here and there and get like 10-12 episodes to finish things up without messing with pacing all that much. But that would be Final Season part 3 i guess? I havent seen a part 3 for these diced-up seasons anywhere before, and this season being called "final season" and all, a movie is just that much more likely
