He literally addressed that in his closing. He said "no show is fun to watch week to week", he's basically saying "stop bitching about the pacing being bad for week to week when he doesn't have to watch it week to week", especially to potential OP fans who get turned off when they hear "bad pacing" and decide not to watch even though they've seen Dragon Ball/Z and Naruto, which have infinitely worse pacing. And I always say, if you don't like slow pacing, don't watch the anime, read the Manga instead or do both, but whatever the case, most of us are sick of hearing the complaining about a non-issue

I'm with you Ruff. I've never had an issue with pacing and I've been watching week to week since Enies Lobby. I never understand the complaints. In my opinion, One Piece is as close to perfection as an anime has gotten. Animation - God Tier, Storytelling -God Tier, Emotion- God Tier, Worldbuilding -God Usopp Tier.

pacing issue is mostly because of week to week, when you binge it is fine ... but i remember some reactors who watched like 6 episodes per week and they noticed pacing was slower later on in this arc there is especially one episode what showing it where is one of the coolest manga moments but they do basically two pages in one episode and it kinda ruins that epic moment ... what you can do just ignore what people say you have your own experience ... great reaction btw

I wouldn't say pacing is slow(Everything is on go-go-go) but information flows really slow. Like when we saw sabo we didn't get him for 3 episode in a row. That is hard for week to week it's really fine for someone watching without waiting a week. Also in Dressrosa crazy things happen constantly (ex: Sabo reveal, Kyros is Soldier , Flame-Flame Fruit,Big Mom Ship) because they keep happening you start to wait for when is the next crazy going to arrive.

This was the major problem. It was exhausting to watch. Honestly, I actually respect Dressrosa's anime adapt because it literally forced people to pick up the manga to reassure themselves that, yes, One Piece is good.

"I don't see the trouble with this pacing."
Well of course you don't, you have watched 1 year of episodes in less than 2 months. The reason you can't watch more episodes is because you have other things to do. For us it took 2+ YEARS to watch Dress Rosa.
I'm glad you're enjoying the show, but you need to understand that when you are excited and say "I can't imagine what it's like to wait a week for the next episode", that is not the hard part... It's when we got a low content episode and thought "I waited a week for this?" and "What if next week is the same?".

dressrosa while binging is infinetely more engaging and fun. Most os PTS arcs feel like that to me.

Every time you bring up the character age thing you have to remember: this is not our world, not earth. They are not the same kind of human we are, it is a different world with probably different human beings. They might have a faster growth rate physically, also emotionally. People have to start differentiating our world from other worlds in anime. The humans depicted there might look like humans on earth but they are different, so there is no point talking about their age.

I think the pacing's fine. I'm used to the usual Toei sluggishness but I've seen Dressrosa both Week to week and binging it, it was fine when I binged it. I do think the pacing per episode is better even if it's the same amount of manga being adapted, toei seem to have figured out that if they gonna drag an episode out then they may as well make it look good. But yeah Dressrosa's fine.
