2021-11-17 19:50:33 +0000 UTCI don't think langris was trying to be a total dick to finral. From what I understand, Langris' jealousy/superiority complex was amplified by the elf dormant inside him. He is still kind of a dick now, but he doesn't necessarily wish Langris harm. When he says he wont make it that easy for him, I think he just means that Finral has a long way to go before he can be a respectable head of his house (which is true) and Langris won't let him take the easy way out, but make sure that he progresses. He'll probably always be a bit of a dick but that's how I interpret it
