Hey ruff I don't know if you missed it but Gordon's grandma said "I'm counting on Nathan. For the sake of our ancestor who made the contract ... the curse of Megicula" and later in the same episode its revealed that Noelles mother was cursed by Megicula. So it looks like there is a connection between them I never noticed this until watching your reaction
