But to give a good example of horrible pacing in the future: There will be a fight that lasts for 22 episodes before the conclusion. Now if you watch 1 episode per week, It took is 154 days to finish a single fight... This is the kind of pacing you can expect with alot of stuff in future arcs. But of course it will not be that bad for you, since you can binge watch it.

They don’t just get it, let people decide for themselves. If you have nothing good to say, just say nothing at all. Let’s not even talk about the “just skip that arc/episodes” people. Smh.

2021-10-23 16:41:48 +0000 UTCHe fell asleep during the backstory of Jimbei for the same reason he didn't want to sit and listen to Nami's. It wouldn't change anything about how he acts. He sees a bad guy and kicks their ass, and he sees good people and protect them. Luffy is a here and now kind of character. He likes to live in the moment and not dwell on the past. This is how he can work with Crocodile, even though he literally murdered a crapton of Vivi's people, and this is how he could forgive Bon Clay. He cares more about what the person is doing right when Luffy meets and interacts with them. I think that Blackbeard would be the same. If Luffy found him spending his time working in a hospital and donating to charity when they next meet, I think he wouldn't go after him. But Luffy knows that Blackbeard is not going to do that.

And that’s about it really. I’m not looking forward to the length lmao 🤣. Thank god these characters show up bout 35 episodes in and not past the halfway point.

2021-10-23 16:16:39 +0000 UTCYea, people like to shit on arcs in One Piece for some reason. But there is a difference between binging every episode and watching them weekly. Fishman island is slow if you watched 1 episode weekly. And if you think about Dressrosa, Dressrosa was painfully slow. But, if you binge them, they are much more bearable, and have a better pace. Up to this point, not much of a problem, but you will see what we mean with Dressrosa, I almost guarantee it. I swear, in Dressrosa, there are 3 episodes that are almost identical, and they are back to back to back of each other.
