Anime is 100% a elaborate commercial for either a manga or a novel. They will always use the intro to bait the viewers and to show the fans what they can expect to be covered in this season or cour. It sux for us that mainly watch anime :/

When an anime chatacter sneezes, typically, it's because someone, somewhere, is talking about them without them knowing. It's a thing in the west too but it's less frequently mentioned, especially in any form of media. Sort of just a saying/small talk. Like "oh you sneezed, someone must be talking about you haha" sort of thing. So when Chrome sneezed it's because the gang was mentioning him.
