Yeah it's supposed to be confusing at first. Its one of those shows that drip feeds the world and back story as it goes on. I love this show, but sadly this is an adaptation of the original manga which wasn't finished proper. The manga did get a release with a finalized version of the story under Trigun Maximum. So certain things may seem a little off or underdeveloped in a few episodes.

It's a bit of a weird one, for a while it's almost anthology in nature, but it builds up the circumstances and history of the world and characters along the way. Much more of a "don't worry about it, you'll get it later" than a "yeah we're gonna explain it next episode", as you say. I hope you stick with it, it's a classic.

2021-10-03 22:36:04 +0000 UTCMmmm I'll say episodes that you should pay more attention to are 5,12 and 13 by nearly the end like...14 or 15 minute mark and after that. Other episodes kinda start picking up. 5 and 12 full episodes, number 13 is kind of a recap but has some info at the end

2021-10-02 19:31:44 +0000 UTCThe intro and outro are the originals as far as I can remember, the dub isn't bad but I still slightly miss some of the original sub flavour. Not sure what part is confusing, everything was pretty clear and I enjoyed watching this old beauty again.
