Instead of "biggu mamu," which is what it is, I could see them saying "biggu myamu" to convey Big Mam. You don't see "mya" as a syllable typically, but it's still possible in the Japanese script. It'd be sorta like how they do the English word cat, not "katto" but "kyatto" to get that flatter a vowel sound.

You were correct Ruff they are saying "Big Mom" its a translation error. It will be fixed by the time the arc is over but just know that the Emperor Charlotte LinLin's name is "Big Mom" also side note for reference when King Neptune adds "jamon" to the end of his sentences it doesnt mean anything its just a sentence ender thats kinda like an accent that only he uses. There are alot of characters in Fishman Island who have unique sentence enders like that.

I feel your pain. I'm unaware if you read the manga, but the reason for the padding is because One Piece is one of only a handful of anime that is weekly, meaning there is basically an episode every week excluding holidays throughout the entire year. The padding is because the anime is catching up to the source material (the manga). It sucks because they could have gone two routes or even a mixture of the two by either introducing the cover stories from the manga (it's canon) and/or made episode fillers so as not to pad the actual content in order to slow down. I can only imagine that the anime studio saw how much flak naruto and bleach got from literal filler arcs and wanted to try a different route (which in hindsight is worse than the other two). I feel you on the chest-problem, it's definitely overboard. By the way, how are you able to skip lines without commenting?

Regarding Caribou's Swamp-Swamp Fruit, the weird idea of a "bottomless pocket dimension" inside him sounds cool. No other Logia has this power to my knowledge (well, except Blackbeard's Dark-Dark Fruit). Since swamps/mud can swallow and trap you, he has that abstract property despite real mud being finite. Another good example of cool abstract powers is Kuma's Paw-Paw Fruit repelling concepts like "Luffy's pain" and not just physical objects. Oda sometimes gets very creative.

I like when shows build suspense, but the padding starts to get a little ridiculous. There has always been anime padding (drawing out reactions, adding an extra gag, focusing on someone's face longer than needed, w/e) but you really start to feel the padding in Dressrosa. Dressrosa is one of my absolute favorite arcs but my god did I wanna rip the screen off my TV on some of that padding lol. Also pour one out for the girls. Their titties do not get a break in animation. (And yes, it's Big Mom. Crunchyroll especially has a weird issue with subtitles where they're using some phonetic translations like Ma - m for Mom, and adding honorifics into the translation where it makes no sense. For instance, Otousama is just a more respectful way to say dad/father, right? You have Otouchan, Otousan, etc... but when Crunchyroll gets things like Otousama or Oniisama, they started putting Father-sama and Brother-sama which just reads so awkwardly. Same with Goshujin-sama being translated to Master-sama. It's just.. Master works fine. LOL okay rant over)

I remember the first time watching this arc Sanji's whole situation kinda annoyed me with how ridiuculous it is, it's a lot more entertaining on rewatches lol. Thanks for another quality reaction!
