There was a what if cover page after the backstory arc that showed Ace, Sabo, and Luffy together as adults as if they'd gone out to sea together and Ace's tattoo just read "ACE" instead of "ASCE" with the x over the S, revealing that Ace's tattoo with the S in it was meant as a tribute to Sabo and the ASL jolly roger/Sabo's Jolly Roger meaning that Sabo has been a character in the back of Oda's pocket for as long as at least Ace has been around. And Dadan was first mentioned as far back as Enies Lobby! The mayor mentions her after seeing Luffy's new bounty. It's crazy how much of a long game Oda's constantly playing with so many elements of the story. Even Boa was in the works as far back as Twin Capes!! There is concept art of her from back then. I'm always in awe.

I feel identified with the Celestial Dragon and appearances because that's what my government did when the pope came (not killing people, they do that for other reasons), they rented shit that worked (fucking lightbulbs for public lighting, for example) for his visit and then the city went back to shit one week after.

I'm very interested in human behavior and I believe that you subconsciously read the title of the 2nd episode because you wanted to know if they address more of Sabo's death, even if it spoiled you for the whole episode :o. Things like that give away how much you love the world, story and that rubbery boi. PS: Cheers to me to think that whole thing while crying, lol.

Episode 505 is definitely a turning point. It hits so hard and with the moment Luffy started to count all his friends still hits hard today. Also, the Ace manga and The first light novel of Ace can be read now (the second novel still has some spoilers tho).

Almost forgot, the end of this arc means movie 10: Strong World and then Episode 0, right? The movie is the only one written directly by Oda, and Episode 0 is manga canon!

-Sabo's death couldn't be shown in any case, he's a child so it will always be censored. -The crossed out S on Ace's arm tattoo is indeed a tribute to Sabo. -There's a fake theory that the whole thing (ASCE) stands for Ace, Sabo, Crybaby (Luffy), and Edward (Whitebeard) but he had the tattoo before he met Whitebeard, so it's not believable. Don't believe all rumors. -Roger was born December 31st, the end. Ace was born January 1st, the start. His crew was the Spade pirates and he was called "Ace of Spades" which symbolizes the start of a deck. The Ace of Spades is often called the Death Card. -Ace's red bead necklace was his tribute to Dadan's. -Ace's favorite food was spaghetti with ghost peppers.

Ruff now that you've seen Sabo's death you should know that the "X'ed out S" on Ace's arm tattoo was put there to honor Sabo's memory. And yes Oda already had Ace's, Sabo's, and Luffy's stories prepared before Ace's character was even shown in Alabasta (which is why Ace already had the tattoo back when he was introduced) Also fun fact Ace and Whitebeard's graves actually exist in real life in Universal Studios Japan. If you look them up you can find pictures of the replicas
