I never had much interest in reactions until I found One Piece reactions. Being able to enjoy One Piece again through other people, is one of the best things reactions have produced and I can definitely see the appeal now.

In that instance it all makes sense, however now that I see it again I ask myself when did Bon Clay touch Magellon's face. His powers require him to hit/touch the target for him to take his form, yet I do not recall him kicking the Warden at all. Then I freaking see the scene and cuss out Oda for how good he writes lmao

Not really One Piece reviews, but if you search up SOSBrosVod on youtube they have a GREAT One Piece manga readthrough playlist. They're just a couple of brothers who react to a lot of anime on their main channel, Semblance of Sanity, but for the OP VODs they read in fun character voices and it's both hilarious and wholesome. They do a manga volume per 2-3 hour stream, and they're always a lot of fun. ^^

As far as one piece reviews, in addition to totally not mark, I like the hour-ish long one piece virgin podcast with Rant Cafe. They have uploaded it to youtube and 2 OP veterans talk one piece arc by arc with their friend reading one piece for the very first time, so there are a lot of great convos between the two perspectives.

LGBT rep in One Piece is so weird to talk about because Bon Clay and Ivankov are excellent and entertaining characters, and more recently Kiku is a darling, but then there are the /scary crossdressers/ where Sanji is that are honestly pretty disrespectful depictions at a glance. It's not a net negative at this point I think, at least in the current story.

Goodbye, Bon Clay. I dearly hope that we may meet again someday, hopefully upon brighter shores. I have faith in the persistence of a true friend.

THIS is how you write an LGBT character. No useless shoehorning, no unnecessary lessons about "acceptance". Being a queer wasn't the extent of his character. He was a good friend, full of honor and courage, whom also happened to be a queer. THAT's what makes him a good character, because loyalty, honor, and courage are the traits that TRULY matter in a person, not how you define your sexuality.

Bon-Chan is the realest homie in op history. Oda drew a cover story for him. he somehow got out of his cell and is the queen of Newkama Land in lvl 5.5 were Ivan ruled, so at least we know hes not dead. I really hope we can see him again sometime but I have no clue how he could break out :(
